@indeks_id Exploring possibilities of solidarity, hope, and dreams amongst women in two shifting political landscapes: the post-new order of Indonesia and post-socialist migration in Germany, and exhibited in film, installation, and performance, "Thank You For The Services" is a project initiated by Riyadhus Shalihin and Kristina Dreit, supported by the International Coproduction Fund (IKF) the Goethe-Institut.
The project took off based on the experiences of Shalihin's and Dreit's mothers working in the health sector. "Thank You For The Services" is a tale of care, healing, and hospitality.

Kristina Kusmina Dreit is an artist based in Berlin, Germany. Kristina works with a variety of mediums such as performance, installation, and film in different constellations. Using steel as an example, she is currently interested in material histories and the entanglements of body, class, and gender.
Riyadhus Shalihin is an artist based in Bandung, Indonesia. His works are inspired by site-specific archives, objects, and memories. Riyadhus works with film, installation, and performance. His latest research investigates body sweat as a trace of labor experience.
This project is joined by Serikat Buruh Militan (Militant Labor Union), who will also take part in the upcoming public program.
