CANNED FROM BORDER: A Drifting Can of Childhood Yarn
Drinks and tinned food are often associated with sailor culture. It is there as a souvenir and even as a medium of barter for natural materials brought by sailors on the Bengkalis frontier to neighbouring countries. Canned drinks are becoming more common, and have even become a part of the culture. It becomes a souvenir and treat during Eid, until it becomes a ritual on the night of takbiran: "Lampu Colok" tightly with the story of the trip of a can of food and drink. That's essentially the memory preserved by
@sillyndris, who grew up on the borderlands of the Archipelago and Ziran.
Sillyndris wants to talk about innocent childhood recollections full of imaginary things about canned drinks that he frequently liked in many mediums in these works titled "Canned From Border."
